Leaders Exploration Development (LED) is specifically designed to address multiple barriers to family self-sufficiency and employment.  The purpose is to move families along the path that will assist them in achieving their dreams.

Services offered: ADULT BASIC EDUCATION, GED PREP CLASSES

Eligibility criteria for GED Classes are:
  • Must score at, or above, 8th grade on the TABE Assessment test (test to be taken at CAC)
  • Income at, or below, 125% of the Federal Poverty Guidelines. Click to View Dollar Amounts

Eligibility criteria for Adult Basic Education Classes are:
  • Must score below 8th grade on the TABE Assessment test (test to be taken at CAC)

To apply for service, bring:
  • Proof of residency (State issued I.D.) for all adults residing in household
  • Social Security cards for all household members
  • Proof of income for most recent 3 months
      • Employment check paystubs
      • Child support
      • Unemployment statement
      • Social Security statement
      • Bank Statements ARE NOT accepted
    • If you, or anyone in your household, receives food stamps (FAP) benefit, documentation MUST BE provided
