Saginaw County Community Action Center

The Saginaw County CAC provides rental housing for low-income Saginaw City residents.  Funding is provided by the City of Saginaw-Community Development Block Grant.  The properties provide safe and affordable housing below the fair market rents for the county.

Potential tenants are screened for past rental and credit histories.  Available units are 2 and 3 bedroom homes and apartments scattered in the City of Saginaw.

 

Rental rates for 2016-2017 are:

To apply for service bring:
  • Current Michigan Driver’s License or State Picture ID for all adults in the household (18 years of age and older)
  • Complete rental application
  • Social Security cards for everyone in the household
  • Proof of household income
    • Must be proof for the past last 60 days
      • Employment check paystubs
      • Child support
      • Unemployment statement
      • Social Security statement
      • SSI statement
    • If you, or anyone in your household, receives food stamps (FAP) benefit, documentation MUST BE provided
