The Deliverable Fuel program provides up to $1,200 in deliverable heating fuel, which may be any of the following fuels:
- Coal
- Fuel Oil
- Kerosene
- Propane
or up to $850 for any of the following fuels:
- Heating Fuel Pellets
- Wood
Where this is the main, and only, heating source.

Eligibility criteria are:
- Fuel supply at, or below, 25% and household members are in danger of losing their only safe and adequate source of heat
- Income at, or below, 150% of the Federal Poverty Guidelines.

To apply for service bring:
- Current Michigan Driver’s License or State Picture ID for all adults in the household (18 years of age and older)
- Social Security cards for everyone in the household
- Current deliverable fuel bill statement/account number
- Proof of income (for everyone in the home)
- Must be proof for the last 30 days
- Employment check paystubs
- Child support
- Unemployment statement
- Social Security statement
- Bank Statements ARE NOT accepted
- If you, or anyone in your household, receives food stamps (FAP) benefit, documentation MUST BE provided
- Must be proof for the last 30 days
